“It showed Pat my worst side, and what I’m like when I’m not my happy self.”
Gwen Jorgensen won gold at the 2016 Olympic Games in the triathlon, and then decided she wanted to trade in the bike and the swim for a while to see how she could fare as a professional distance runner. Today, Gwen trains with the Bowerman Track Club, and is gearing up to compete at the 2020 Olympic Track & Field Trials in the 5K and 10K. And her husband, Pat Lemieux, will be by her side every step of the way. Pat was a professional cyclist, but after meeting Gwen and getting serious with their relationship, he decided to put his career aside so he could fully support her in hers. On this episode, they talk about that decision, and what it looked like then vs. now, when Gwen is in a different phase of her career and they have a son, Stanley.

Hi Ali! I’ve been loving Love on the Run this week! It’s so fun – all the couple’s are adorable and I’ve been enjoying hearing about a different side of these athletes’ lives.
I’ve also be thinking about trying UCan for a while now and would love to take advantage of your discount on the starter pack. However, when I click on the link in your post or type the website in directly it yes me that the page doesn’t exist. Is there some sort of issue with it that can be resolved?
Thanks so much and keep doing what you’re doing – I love listening to your podcast each week!
Hi Caitlyn! I’m so sorry about that. The links are fixed now! (Let me know if you still have any issues, but should be good to go!)
