Gotta be quick because I’m late to meet my friends downtown.
BUT. Spotted on Central Park West near Columbus Circle:
I ran past that spot three times this morning and still have no idea what was going on. It was like a mock/mini Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Maybe they were filming something?
It is NYC, after all. Anything goes.
I slept incredibly well last night—a steak dinner will do that to you—then woke up at 8 am to get in a long run.
I think I covered about 11.5 miles in Central Park. Haven’t mapped it yet—no time, there’s never any time, says Jessie Spano—but I’ll update ya later.
I was feeling good the whole time. I got cramps at two different points, so I stopped, got my breathing under control then went on, pain free.
Great start to the weekend! Now off to conquer the day…

GREAT job on 11.5! I am jealous of your snow-free running…we got about 6 inches last night. I’m hoping it’s cleared by tomorrow so I can log in some miles OUTSIDE.
